Delete your account
CharleyBarley accounts are optional. You can permanently delete your account and associated cloud data from the app or request deletion here.
Delete in the app
- Open CharleyBarley and sign in.
- Open Settings → Cloud backup & sync.
- Choose Delete account, type the confirmation word, and confirm.
Deletion is processed immediately. You are signed out when it finishes.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address associated with your CharleyBarley account. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the request.
Manual requests are completed within 30 days. We will confirm when deletion is complete.
What is deleted
- Your account, email address, and authentication identity.
- Synced pet profiles, routines, health records, memories, and care history.
- Cloud-hosted pet photos and documents associated with your account.
Important: Pet data stored only on your device is not removed by account deletion. Delete local data in the app or uninstall CharleyBarley to remove it. Deleting your account also does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be canceled through the store that billed you.
Data we may retain
We may retain limited records only when required for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or security obligations. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat maintain purchase records according to their own retention requirements.
